Château de Bouchet – White wine

 

The Château de Bouchet is located on the heights of Entre-deux-Mers, 10 km from Saint-Emilion.

Wine blend : This vintage is born from a subtle blend of 60% Sauvignon, 30% Sémillon and 10% Muscadelle.

Winemaking : Rigorous selection of the harvest (varieties and plots are vinified separately). This dry white Bordeaux is produced according to methods that allow optimal extraction of aromas and fat: pellicular maceration, the white grapes are delicately pressed in a pneumatic press, filtration of the lees, fermentation at perfectly controlled temperatures (16 to 18 °), stay on fine lees for 4 to 6 months with stirring. No malolactic fermentation.

Type of soil : Limestone and clay with asteria limestone subsoil.

Environment : Sustainable agriculture and Organic certified in 2022. Our vineyard management maintains the biodiversity and sustainability. Certified by The Vegan Society and HVE3 (meaning “high environmental value”).

The Château de Bouchet is located on the heights of Entre-deux-Mers, 10 km from Saint-Emilion.

Wine blend : This cuvée is born from a subtle blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaking : The quality of the red grapes comes from careful work in the vineyard. Rigorous selection of the harvest (varieties and plots are vinified separately). Classic Bordeaux vinification: destemming, fermentation between 25 and 30°. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks to obtain more complexity, malolactic fermentation. Fruity wine, not aged in barrels.

Type of soil : Limestone and clay with asteria limestone subsoil.

Environment : Sustainable agriculture and Organic certified in 2022. Our vineyard management maintains the biodiversity and sustainability. Certified by The Vegan Society and HVE3 (meaning “high environmental value”).

Classic Bordeaux vinification: destemming, fermentation between 25 and 30°. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks to obtain more complexity, malolactic fermentation. Aging 12 months in French oak barrels in the stone cellar of the manor.
